Position of schools in Andhra Pradesh

There are 91,322 government schools in our state. 8,500 schools are not having minimum infrastructural facilities. 4,389 schools are not having concrete buildings. 2,891 schools are not having teachers. 20,000 schools are running with single teacher. Our rulers are also including dropouts in list of literates. In interior tribal areas droputs rate is 90%. Residential areas in our state are 66,528. 52, 218 schools are located in resdential areas. 62,467 schools are around 1 KM far from residential areas. 48, 717 schools are 3 KMs far from residential areas. 16, 291 schools teach only upto 8th standard. In this position it is difficult to increase the quality of education in our state.

In our state literacy rate is above 64%. Our rulers are saying that they will achieve 100% literacy rate in next 5 years. If infrastructural facilities in schools are so worse, how can more children get attracted to schools?

Just a doubt- is this talk abt govt. or private schools??

Some private schools also do not have adequate infrastructure like government schools.
