Belt shops are more around Narasannapeta in Srikakulam district. In Narasannapeta and Polaki mandals belt shops are seen in every village. In Jalamuru mandal also belt shops are seen in many villages. They are not selling liquor acording to maximum retail price. Rate of liquor differs from village to village. In Narasannapeta town also rate of liquor differs from shop to shop. Excise police are not bothering about maximum retail prices.

In past Chenna Reddy encouraged liquor trade well, next Chandra Babu Naidu and now YSR. All these are shameless politicians.
