TDP activists of Bhamini mandal in Srikakulam district are fighting within themselves by name of castes for mandal leaderships. Activists of majority castes in that mandal are arguing that leaderships should be given only to their caste persons publicly. They are even threatening for MLA Nimmaka Gopala Rao and other senior leaders.

From village politics to center politics caste is becoming severe matter. More of the Prime Ministers of our country are brahmans. In national level politics brahmans dominate and in state level and local politics economically or numerically stronger castes of those states and areas dominate.

Caste politics are less in Srikakulam district comparing to East Godavari, West Godavari, Kirshna and Guntur districts. If politicians think they can raise up Srikakulam district upto the level of East Godavari, West Godavari, Kirshna and Guntur districts in casteism.
