BC survey angers TDP leaders in Srikakulam

Government surveyed BC population in Srikakulam town for reservations in muncipal elections. Population of Srikakulam town is above 1 lakh. According to recent survey BC population of that town is around 37 thousand. TDP leaders are arguing that BC population in Srikakulam town is less than the number specified by survey report. In Srikakulam town majority people belong to OC communties like vysya, brahman, patnaik etc. There are also BC communties like sri sayana, kalinga, polinati velama, turupu kapu, yadava etc and SC communties like relli in that town. But politics of that town are dominated by OCs especially vysyas. Present muncipal chairperson Pydisetty Jayanthi, former muncipal chairman Andhavarapu Varaha Narasimham(Varam) and TDP town president Andhavarapu Suri Babu etc are vysyas. They dont want to loose their domination in town politics. So they want to show BC population as too less and arguing that BC survey in that town gave false reports.

In state level kammas play caste politics in TDP. In town\area level local leaders play caste politics.

I wonder why TDP leaders are trying to show BC population too less in Srikakulam town. Already vysya population is more in Srikakulam town and they are only dominating town politics. 37 thousand BC population in 1 lakh population of that town cannot stop the influence of OCs in Srikakulam town politics. TDP leaders are unnecessarily raising caste population matter for personal benefit.
