Telineelapuram bird sanctuary is located in Tekkali mandal in Srikakulam district. In every winter season pelican birds from Siberia come to Telineelapuram and surroundings. Some people are hunting those birds. Telineelapuram bird sanctuary is attracting tourists from other districts. Hunting those birds should be stricting restricted. Arresting the hunter of pelican birds preserves the Telineelapuram bird sanctuary.

They had introduced some bird watching towers at Telineelapuram surroundings. They should introduce more bird watching towers.

Restricting hunting is also very important. Pelican is one of the rare breed of birds in the world. Pelicans are fish eaters. In Telineelapuram area fish ponds are more. So pelican birds come to Telineelapuram every winter season from Siberia. If hunting those birds is strictly restricted more tourists will visit Telineelapuram.
