When will they construct Bhavanapadu fishing harbour? There is demand from long time to construct fishing harbour in Bhavanapadu in Santhabommali mandal. TDP had completely neglected this proposal. Now congress came in to power. Congress is also not saying any thing clearly about this proposal. Many fisher men of this areas are migraing to long distances and other states. Fishing harbour can reduce migrations. But they are neglecting this proposal.

Yes. I do agree with your idea that Srikakulam needs to have a harbour of its own.

We need to chalk out a list of points which could be put before the concerned authorities to develop Srikakulam.

Many fisher men from Srikakulam district are migrating to other areas and also to other states, especially Orissa. Majority of the people working in fishing harbours in Bhadark and Balasore districts of Orissa are telugites especially from Srikakulam district. They are migrating to other states by poverty.

Not only Bhavanapadu, minimum 4 or 5 fishing harbours are required for Srikakulam district.
