Farmer's death - an issue for YS Rajasekhara Reddy

For the past few days, the news paper headlines were the same. Death of farmers - the reasons could be many but after the YSR Government came to power, the number of farmer deaths was gradually increasing.

This will surely become a headache for the YSR Government if he does not interfere into the issue.

What are the suggestions that you give for YSR to tackle this issue?

ysr ' s package of giving 150,000 rupees to the families of farmers who committed suicides, is going to increase the number of deaths. because in rayalaseema and some poor regions of andhra the faction will kill more farmers and claim the package. so ysr's decision is foolish to give compensation to the died farmers. because the congress local leaders will ow kill many farmers who have voted to TDP and take the money. u see YSR will easilyget unpopular
its all drama in andhra pradesh. there is no leader as chandrababu.

Siva may be right. YSR's package of Money for Suicides will eventually rise in the number of suicides in the state.

There are many poor farmers in the State who donot have enough money to survive. In such cases, they might suicide to get money for their family.

And the toll in the state rose to 15. This is a very serious issue... Sad

YSRs government is giving more priority for constructing irrigation projects. Farmers suicides will reduce after completion of those irrigation projects.
