Mobile phones allowed in AP Colleges & Universities

The Andhra Pradesh Government has finally decided and came out with a rule that students should not bring or use Mobile phones in colleges and universities in the state. It may be recalled that Mobile Phones are also not inside the legislature and in jails.

This is probably a nice decision and other states also should follow the route.

Mobile phone usage is already restricted where chemical , petrochemical, and POL products refining or sale is there, this includes petroleum refineries, terminals, out lets, chemical plants, petrochemical factories, fertiliser plants etc. Recently certain banks in vizag also restricted usage of mobile in their bank. Traffic police already prohibited the usage of mobiles during driving, it is also not allowed during travelling on fleights.

In UK several people have gone to court on mobile phone companies as after continuous usage of mobiles for certain period people are loosing their total memory power.Keeping the mobile set in front pocket of shirt is dangerous to health as it is very near to heart and may do damage to heart during call receving.

These are the several things i heard from learned people and observed, i am using my mobile since its introduction in 1997, i am hale and healthy, i request members to enlighten all by giving some technical details of side effects on usage of mobile phones.

mobile phones were banned in most of professional colleges.
i don't think they need to be banned and i'm sure that the decision will be withdrawn soon. i agree that most of students endulge in sms illusion world
and not concentarting on studies. their usage should be restricted inside the class rooms.
