Why dont brahmans and vysya's eat non vegetarian food?

Why dont brahmans and vysya's eat non vegetarian food like Chicken, mutton, fish, prawns and crabs etc? If all castes are equal why do some castes have specific habits? Eating cow beef is against hindu sastra's but there is nothing wrong in eating chicken, mutton, fish, prawns and crabs etc.

so the food.. so the mind, so the mind ..so the thoughts, so the thoughts.. so the behaviour, so the behaviour.. so the life.

what ever we study.. what ever peaks we reach..what ever rich you are..the people those who protect their heritage and culture will win the race, may be after crossing several hurdles by others.

Even after supression for long sixty years, Even today no politician dares to do any help by by bringing any legislation to the needs or demands of above castes though India has all the Prime ministers are brahmins except 3 or 4, like raja of mandya..V P SINGH,Choudhry charan singh and L B Sastry etc.

This particular food habits viz. complete food phenomenoen saving the above communities to some extent. There are also some perverted people in the above communities playing "GHAR ME RAM.. GALLI ME SYAAM" BY EATING animal and birds CORPSES.

I know one brahman named Sudharsanam Surya Narayanacharya. His family do not eat non vegetarian food. But some times he eat non vegetarian food in restaurant.

In Srikakulam i have seen some brahmans and vysya's who eat non vegetarian food. When we were in Srikakulam our neighbours were brahmans. Every sunday they eat chiken but they do not eat mutton. In the colony we lived we know one vysya family. They eat chicken, mutton and all types of non vegetarian foods.
