Guntur district should be renamed as Amaravati district

What is the need of restoring old names? Amaravathi district name is there in maharastra, now no need to change name.

Mirchi = Guntur

Guntur = Mirchi

That's all.....

The idea of changing name is not good.

I agree with you. Guntur was also ruled by Kondaveeti reddies and Narasaraopeta velama's. Why only name of one kingdom to Guntur?
