There are huge reserves of coal in eastern area of Karimnagar district. Why cant Singareni colleries campany open new coal mines in Karimnagar district? It will provide emplyoment to some more people in economically backward Karimnagar district.

Karimnagar backward in both agricultural and industrial sectors. Singareni coal fields developed Karimnagar a little.

Recently i heard in news that Singareni colleries company is going to open more mines. I dont know whether in Karimnagar district or not.

11kms north east of Ramagundam coal mines are there. It is estimate that coal available 300metres under ground to the capacity of 143 lakh metric tons and at a depth of 450metres 2040 lakh metric tons.
