Andhra Pradesh Government transfers IPS officers

Seventeen IPS officers were on Friday night transferred by the Andhra Pradesh Government.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Home Guards, Hyderabad CS Naidu has been promoted and posted as Inspector General of Police, Special Protection Force, an official release said in Hyderabad.

Varun Sindhu Kul Kaumdi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Security Intelligence, has been promoted as IGP and posted as Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam.

Rajiv Trivedi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Grey Hounds, Hyderabad got promoted to be posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Hyderabad.

M Mahener Reddy, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Hyderabad has been promoted but retained with the rank to be upgraded as IGP.

Vinay Ranjan Ray, Deputy Inspector Genral of Police, CID, Hyderabad has been promoted as IGP to Police Computer Services.

T Krishna Prasad, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Visakhapatnam Range has been promoted to the rank of IGP and posted as IGP, Security in Intelligence Department.

Others promoted include Dr C Ramachandra Naidu, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Hyderabad, S Prabhakar Reddy, Additional Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad, CV Narsiah, P Koteshwara Rao, Lokendra Sharma, T Krishna Raju, S Venkataramana Murthy and Madan Mohan (all IPS officers).

They should also transfer Srikakulam SP who is trying to disturb talks between government and Maoists.
