Just trying to drawn an inference (or difference) between the two. Both have their own cons and pros. And this is not an attempt to make some one low.

American Cops are very fast. Arrive at the incident scene in no time. Multiple patrol vehicles attends even for a minor (or silly incidents). Andhra Police arrive at the incident scene a bit late - usually after the incident and that too alone.

What do we need:

1. More faster vehicles
2. More constable
3. The zeal to attend to incidence as fast as possible

I don't think that American cops are so truthful people. 50% of American prisoners are blacks. Here, in India, majority of the prisoners are BCs. America has world's highest rate of prison population i.e. 7%. America is also not so rich country as we think. 16% poverty and 8% unemployment exists in America according to recent statistics. Most of the poor and unemployed people are blacks and latin americans. If we include the percentage of both blacks and latin americans in prison population, it consists 75%. Position of India is also same. If a poor person commits theft for just Rs 500, police imprison him for several months. But they didn't arrest big frauds like Nagarjuna finance and Krushi bank Venkateswara Rao etc who robbed crores of money. There is also political support for such people.
