JAI UTTARANDHRA by elections - 29th May.

The much awaited by elections to the assembly seat in Vijayanagaram will be held on May 29th. How and where are the parties standing right now?

Congress: This is the only party which is alteast trying to do something for Uttarandhra and the previous govt (TDP) has totally neglected the region. And has more chances of winning the seat.

TDP: Loss is inevitable, and it is the writing on the wall of TDP, it has planned its mahanadu to gather base in Uttarandhra but again it has been shifted to hyderabad. And now its just a matter of time TDP is routed out from Uttarandhra.

BJP: Sorry folks, you dont exists in either Vijaynagaram or Uttarandhra.

Communists: Though its candidate has won the recent MLC elections from Uttarandhra, it is unlikely that either of the communists will win the by election.

Guyz, any info on candidates from different parties?

Now a days if you rome on roads of Uttarandhra (Vizag/Visakhapatnam/Vijayanagaram/Srikaukulam) you will find a huge cheer for chiranjeevi. I think Uttarandhra has the higest support for the star.

By this time if his party has come through, he would have swept the by poll and leaving congress, TDP, communists, BJP losing their deposits. I have no doubt in that.

The TDP has committed a blunder by shifting its mahanadu from Vizag to Hyderabad. Local tdp leaders/party workers were very happy while their supremo announced that mahanadu will be conducted at Vizag.

But now their enthuaism is aomost dead and buried. I think once the strong hold of tdp will be totally captured by megastars party.

From congress side Botsa, Konathala, and other local uttarandhra leaders will try their best to capture the by poll. As the Kosta leader TSR has been stripped of his ministership, he is dumb these days.

TDP has only Yerran naidu from uttarandhra to take care of the by poll. I think nobody else are strong enough in tdp from Uttarandhra. Ashok, Tammineni, and others are down and out already. In Vizag tdp is face less, even their once strong MLA rehman is also trying to revolt aganist them.

As Human said, BJP and the Communists have no face in Uttarandhra. This will be an intresting one.
