Ask you history teacher, Probably she never told this to you.. BTW, I am clearly aware of the history teachers and their knowledge in your area.. , recently I got this useful info from other thread |
Just history cannot be considered. Hampi was capital of Vijayanagara empire and now it is a village. Kalingapatnam and Motupalli were famous harbor towns in coastal Andhra in past that exported perfumes, textiles and other commodities to other countries. Now both are villages. British colonial rulers developed Vizag and Kakinada harbors and neglected Kalingapatnam and Baruva harbors. If there are enough roads, railways, factories and harbors in our province, we too can have high percentage of urban population. We should also remember that urbanisation is not sole solution for economical problems. Brazil has high percentage of urban population but it is still a poor country. _________________
