Vizag another mumbai ? or will it set an example?

After a long break, I came back to my home city and got pleasantly surprised by the kind of development taking place here. I always felt that Vizag is capable of becoming a major metro not just in the state, but also in the country. I almost felt like i was roaming in the seaward suburbs of Daytona beach, FL, when I had a ride on vizag-bheemili beach road, low pollution, clean, scenic, simply lustrous.
I doubt if our high growth potential will lead a beautiful city to a chaotic metropolis. Or, is it possible to make it large, keeping the charm in tact?
will it be another chaotic mumbai or will it set an example by developing infrastructure before its too late?

First of all welcome back to our Vizag Smile

Now, I think Vizag will be another choatic metropolis in the coming years and we will not be able to preserve its scenic beauty and its charm.

By this time you might have observed the greenary of the city has vanished, trees have been chopped down everywhere, once there used to be a green carpet almost all over the city, now only few areas of the city have some greenary left with.

There are a lot of plans for improving Vizag's infrastrcture but on the ground hardly anything is taking off. Already many roads in the city are conjested, this is just an example of things to come.

The main drawback of Indian cities is, gov doesnt wake up untill the condition goes out of hand just like Bangalore or Mumbai. Only when the condition is out of hand in Vizag, then gov will wake up!

Anywayz, lets hope the ground condition improves, you have a great stay and enjoy Laughing

I join out other plays in welcoming you back to your home town. Vizag is indeed having all the settings to develop so well. I wish things keep going on a positive track all the way.

heartly welcome to our vizag, i will be also visiting the city next week with my eldest son just returned on 2 months vacation grom USA. for god sake i pray our vizag should never become mumbai a city run by brokers,goons and parasites. our vizag should be a clean, neat, haryali, productive and hightech technopolise city.
