| | Why a military? Why not the existing state and central agencies or a private enterprise? Military is not cheap. The cost of military is many folds higher than a public or private force setup to do the same job. |

| i fully support the authour of this topic, central/state agencies are totally fraud and MES(money eating services) is eating the lion share of total defence allocation and fouji bhai log are drinking the rest balance, government should immediately make village brigades withequal status as soldiers under stevardship of retired military engineers and take the help of BSF,BRO and all regiments in execution of vital irrigation projects which will certainly improve GSDP just like our AP now with 9.67 and 0.3%higher than coutry's GDP. AP 's success is just because of showing little Progress in irrigation projects. i am very much hopeful the much dreamed reverse migration will start once all he irrigation projects are completed in AP. _________________ STATESMAN |

You are very quick to make use of that bit of positive news. But is it not correct that AP was lagging behind India in the last two financial years (FY 2005 and 2006). |
