Resurgence of TDP?

We almost completed 3 years of the current term and seems like 2009 April is around the corner. First two years we witnessed complete annihilation of TDP in every election. All the charisma of the longest CM and high-tech savvy persona evaporated. Just about time when everything is being written off, a glimmer of hope was given in ZPTC elections to remind us that it is still significant force in state politics. Then came bye-elections of Knagar and Bobbili, and here comes TDP back into race again closing the gap between Congress and TDP. They have further shown their resurgence in the prestigious GVMC election.

These are small victories and long way to go before we take them seriously. On Congress part, , in spite of recent setbacks, they have monumental lead over TDP. However, I analyzed last 20 years election victories and losses. It appears to me there was more correlation between the performance of the party and the general perception 2 years before the completion of the term than at any other stage of the term. So I ask you what you think about the direction the two main parties are heading. What is working work for them or not working for them? What should they do to improve their chances in 2009?

Now CBN is trying to allign with TRS if Gutta sukhender reddy's trials for joining TRS is an indication, he is so much frustrated man now a days, the speaches in assembly by him confirms them.
