Earthquake in Bhadrachalam - Khammam

Post subject: Earthquake in Bhadrachalam - Khammam		Reply with quote
It is very shocking and surprising to hear that Badrachalam and Khammam had an earthquake. Though the earthquake is of a minor scale, it is really important to know its reasons.

I think that the earthquake in this Andhra Pradesh region was because of the excessive mining done here. What do you say?

The earthquake that happened recently near Bhadrachalam is an occassional.Bchadrachalam cited the surroundings like warangal,kothagudem mines.
It may be severe in future in the same area.

In Jharkhand also there are cases of earth quakes caused by coal mines.

It’s bad to hear such news.
I hope our government should take up the issue seriously and take the necessary action to resolve the problem as soon as possible. It would be great if some of the local leaders could come forward and take up the issue to the district collector.
In my opinion, the government and social workers should work together to create awareness among the people of Khammam district and help people relocating to safer places.

We can contribute to this cause, by educating the people of khammam district about the problem and suggesting various alternate methods to help alleviate the problem.
