US Pharmacopeia (USP) has opened its Centre comprising, office and laboratory at ICICI Knowledge Park, in the city. The new USP Centre in India is meant to accelerate both USP’s and India’s collaborative efforts to reach mutual goals.

USP is a non-profit, non-governmental, standards-setting organisation that advances public health and improves patient safety by ensuring good pharmaceutical care.

USP will hold its 5th annual scientific meeting in the city tomorrow, with a joint msymposium sponsored by USP, Parental Drug Association and the Indian Stakeholder Forum.

Looks very promising and if everything goes per book, i reckon its all set to make hyderabad an bio-tech superpower.
