Right places to set up industries

The other one is RS 10,000 crore petro chemical industry coming up in SEZ Vizag. It needs very efficient port system to receive the crude oil, it should have know how of refining crude, and finally it should have a market to sell the gaoline. From Haldia to Chennai there is no other refinery in between to serve the market of AP, Orissa and other hinterlands. As far as other chemical and fertilizer products, it is the only complex on the entire east coast.

Vizag also has huge potential for manufacturing sector. Govt is encouraging IT/BT, but I would like the manufacturing sector to be encouraged at Vizag/UttarAndhra.
