This is from telangana.com site, related to education:

"...The injustice done toTelangana on education can be seen from the allocation of funds.In Telangana region only 30 to 31% of allocated funds were spent where as in Andhra Pradesh 68 to 70% were spent on education,when the population of two regions is almost equal.Infact as an under developed and backward region much attention should have been given to Telangana region...."

Well same telangana.com site, listed the numbers in a table form next to the above statement "...when the population of two regions is almost equal..."
Region Area Population

Coastal Andhra 33.75% 41.46%

Rayalaseema 24.57% 17.77%

Telangana 41.47% 40.54%

Trying to understand, what am I missing: To make the above bold portion statement valid, the comparion of almost equal population is between the named Coastal Andhra and Telangana. But in comparing the funds allocation, stated as if T didn't get equalent to rest of the state...
Moreover, not sure what happened to Hyderabad area, Hyderabad population, or Hyderabad area education allotment in this compartion, whether merged with one region for population/area and also merged for education budget.
