Srikakulam should be upgraded as special grade muncipality. Srikakulam is 1st grade muncipality. Population of Srikakulam town is more than 1 lakh 10 thousand. Population of it out skirt panchyat colonies is around 20 thousand. Srikakulam should be upraged as sepcial grade muncipality by merging out skirt panchyat colonies in muncipality. Srikakulam will be more developed if it is upgraded as sepcial grade muncipality.

Sarpanchs of panchayats which out skirt colonies belong to are not agreeing for merging the colonies of their panchayats in muncipality. If those colonies are merged in muncipality population of their panchayats will reduce. If population of their panchayats reduce, funds to their panchayats also reduce and they cannot have more money for corruption.

Politicians are cheating people before every elections by saying that they will merge out skirt colonies in muncipality. Every time people are loosing by believing them.

If Srikakulam is upgraded as special grade muncipality taxes will increase. Taxes is not main problem. Development is more important. People need not oppose it by reason of taxes.
