Hope the fund raisers are the ones who respected NTR when he was alive and when they are in power.

Telugu Desam enters the `fray' for NTR award

HYDERABAD: The TDP has said that it will collect Re.1 from every party member and put it in a fund from which the Rs. 5-lakh cash prize that comes with the NTR Memorial National Award every year can be drawn.

At a press conference here on Thursday, general secretary Sobha Nagi Reddy and spokesperson Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said the TDP offer of sponsoring the award came in the wake of officials saying that there were no funds. "We have lakhs of members. They can contribute Re. 1 each,' Mrs. Sobha said, asking the Government to come out clearly whether it would continue the practice of giving the award in memory of a man who was acknowledged as the `torch-bearer' of Telugu pride.

Let them pay, why they are threatening, 3 months back during visit to ajmeer CBN promised 50 lakhs to them which was not paid till now, his mama and he has habit of pocketing things but not taking out from pocket.

Two things I remeber after NTR came into politics:
1) When he visited US, in Andhra someone tookover the Government
2) When NTR got back into power, whatever Parvathis's role or some excuse to others, NTR party was taken over

Now upon his death, apparently same folks or same party from whom he was ousted or taken over power apparently conducting several programs.
Or perhaps I am missing many things in between, which is not surprising.
