Hi PS,

I really doubt it. This is because most of these IT companies have many levels of filtering any moves by employees or outsiders to impact their culture of philosophy. On a broad sense, this is not at all possible. However, narrowing down to a specific location, this might by possible at the reporting manager or hr level who show bias and personal preferances in choosing candidates for various positions. However, luckily, political influencing is at a very low or invisible state as of now.

In regard to Infy in Bangalore, this might be because of the recent clout of NR in the media against the Government for its inability to provide good and enough infrastructure and facilities.

BTW, Do you work for any IT company in Bangalore?

As far as i know there is no castism in Infy, but there is some sort of feeling in employees that the rankings are not properly given by their bosses to really eligible but are given to ineligible which in turn mmaking employees dissatified. This is leading to continuous resignations at least (roughly 25-30 per month) in hyderabad center.

The rollover may be related to more opportunities in Hyderabad as more and more companies are establishing business there?
