Karimnagar to become corporation

There is proposal of making Karimnagar as muncipal corporation. 10 years ago we lived in Karimnagar. In those days also Karimnagar was highly populated. Now population increased more. Government is thinking about making Karimnagar as muncipal corporation by merging out skirt panchayats in Karimnagar. But people of those panchayats are not agreeing for it. They are saying that taxes will be increased if their panchyats are merged in corporation and they dont like to pay high taxes.

Those panchayats sarpanchs will loose their posts. That is also reason.

Government should not bother about objections of sarpanchs. For sarpanchs their posts may be important. For people development is important.

Paying taxes may be problem. But development is more important. If Karimnagar is upgraded as corporation, it will get more funds for developing infrastructure.
