There were reports in the media that the medal winners from Andhra Pradesh who displayed their best performance were unhappy at the stance of the Government - particularly the athlets who did not even get the attention they deserve. One newspaper was quoting the former chief minister as the darling of the sports. Athlete Sathi Geetha says she is yet to receive the incentive that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has promised for medal winners.
