Old parents who want to live independently with their style, after great struggle in bringing their children. Are we giving them required respect and caring them.. i think No..

recently i have seen one hindi movie..name i have forgotten which casts.. abhishek bachan, amrishpuri, helen, hangal, ompuri i which they reach a old age home called asiana and struggle for living away from their sons and wards..There is so much to learn from this movie..

People those who are reaching cities from their villages after completing their graduation in search of jobs leaving their parents and oldies in villages, other wise bring them to capital cities like hyderabad after getting jobs, keep them in their newly acquired apartment in areas like miyapur, KPHB of hyderabad, wake up at 8-30 AM leave home at 9.00 AM leaving the oldies in the house reach home around 10PM in the night from their soft ware jobs...what is the fate of old parents who want to spend their entire time with children donot get that chance.. donot know what to do in the house.. cannot go out side in mad traffic

I have seen several families who are struggling with their children working in hyderabad with these new generation jobs without any working hours or holidays..if at all there is a holiday.. people zoom to party with their coleagues leaving old parents in the house.. can members give their feelings on this.

Old songs by Mohemmed Rafi, Ghantasala and Mukesh of yesteryears are unforgettable. Recent adition of 93.5 SFM bysun TV at Hyderabad really gives good old songs in the night. i enjoy when i am in vizag on the same Visakha FM since last 3 years. People at this hyderabad do they remember good songs and singers at all.

I would like to take this comparison to more philosophical level, like comparing the life as we knew in ancient and medieval India vs life in modern India or modern world. How do we compare against those civilizations? The luxuries and comforts we all have are relative. I’m sure 500 years from now, people will think we had horrible lives based on current lifestyle and so on. In my opinion the fulfillment of life has always been the same, if at all, we can only say it got deteriorated. Therefore, I would like to pursue this question in this perspective There is no way we can go back to old times, but if we understand it we can get best of both worlds. Any takers?

I sugest we also talk here abt old days of motoring- neone here rem. old cars like Standard Herald, Fiat 1100, Morris Minor, Pymouth, Impala etc..& also the popular old Lambretta scooters?? Cool

Since we mention golden old movies here, we might as well talk abt these cars/bikes as many of these featured in those movies..... Wink

Ther happens to be a club in Hyd. w. association of vintage car/bike owners, even hav a rally every year on 15th aug, world tourism day etc.....I hope to make it for the next raly... Cool
