Hey guys come on.. It is too offensive to say that we should ban marriages between close relatevices though it could not be encouraged. I dont know how North Indians go for marriages but it is quiet common in hindus in the Southern India. Banning wont be the right think. Educating the youth and getting them convienced would be the right thing.

Marriages between close relatives are not permitted by law. But in south India there is permission due to traditional reasons. Law should not depend on traditions of region or religion. But in India one religion is permitted for polygamy and another religion is not permitted for polygamy. One region is permitted for marriages between close relatives and another region is not permitted for such marriages by law.

In Haryana a village which is dominated people of "jat" community had boycotted a couple. Because they married even they belong to same gothra.
