GMR group

It is a big news last week that ICICI has taken 12% share in GMR group, which is creating record of sorts in indian infrastructure arena. they are constructing shamshabad airport on bot basis, they got new delhi airport for modernisation. A person Mr.Grandhi mallikarjuna rao of Rajam in srikakulam district of AP really a successful enterpneur. when ICICI is his partner for GMR it is only sky is the limit for new ventures and adventures.

GMR and GVK are competing in the mid-infrastructure business. Both of them are from South India and mostly family owned. Nice that we have some one from Andhra becoming big and taking good chunk of the instructure business.

GVK IS A HYDERABAD BASED COMPANY STARTED BY GV Krishna reddy whose first venture i suppose is NOVOPAN INDIA LIMITED at Patancheru, followed by GVK power at Kadium in East Godavari district. This group has its five star hotel Krishna oberoi in Hyderabad. Now this group got Mumbai airport modernisation project. Good days for AP companies.
