No doubt a very sad end he faced.....but acc. to the news reports, he had been killed while trying to flee....so tat made it sound like it was his fault!

I'm more concerned abt his family.....esp. his children! My heart relaly goes out to them.... Sad

The state as well as central govt. stated tat they will provide "financial support" to his family but I'm personally dubious abt whether such a promise will really be kept & if so, to wat extent....

Also the super powers like the US currently dont seem to be focussing on eliminating this problem of the Taliban from Afghanistan while they r concentrating on the issue over Iraq!

This is one shocking surprise- turns out tat the slain engineer happens to hav a 2nd wife, whom he'd married against the wishes of her family.....she came forward w/ her "daughter" & stated her "identity" during his funeral, claiming rights to the compensation tat the Co. he'd worked for, declared for him.
However, the SC denied her hving rights to the compensation as acc. to Hindu law, ther is no 2nd marriage.....so the "1st" wife is the only legal heir to the compensation.
Sadly, Snarayana's "1st" wife cudnt bear the news & consumed a container of harpic toilet cleaning liquid in a bid to commit suicide & was thereafter admitted to hospital.....still said to be serious! Sad

I hav doubts abt the truth in the statements of the "2nd wife", ie. whether she was really married to him or even knew him at all........cudnt it be a ploy on her part to get a part of the compensation from the Co.?
