Site down for a brief period

Some hardware stuff at the hardware end went bad and the site was down briefly starting late noon yesterday. It is up and running fine now but some of our posts would have been lost (due to the restoration process).

Sorry about this and we will continue to do what we can to bring eveything that is lost.

Webgeek/Sanjay,

Can you confirm whether we lost all the postings for that period or you are still trying. Good to know for sure and repost if we can.

Sorry to tell you - but all the posts starting last monday were lost. The downtime of the website was a brief but the two raid controllers on the server were lost which forced us to switch back to the last sunday backup. Extremly sorry abt this.

Please note that this restoration was necessiated because of the server downtime and not to delete posts of members (as claimed by other members). In fact, all the websites that on the server suffered because of this. (and i am still working on the remaining ones)
