Loans for industries

Does any one know who gives loans for setting up small scale industries in the state. My friend is serious about setting up a factory in Vijayawada – don't know what kind of industry it is but any one who had some experience in dealing with governmental agencies to get loans or other kind of funding can please post in their thoughts on this.

Getting a loan can be discussed only after finalizing the type of industry.
In general, any bank can be approached for getting a loan for establishing an industry.

few industry sectors specified by Govt. attracts many benefits & subsidies.

Financing :

SIDBI: Small Industries Development Bank of India (refinance and direct lending)

- SFCs: State level Financial Corporation e.g. Delhi Financial Corporation.

- NSIC: National Small Industry Corporation.

- Small Industry Development Corporations of various states.

- Commercial/Co-operative Banks.

- DIC: District Industry Centre.

Many thanks Kumar for the information. I am an NRI aspiring to set up a SSI in Hyderabad area.

When I made a survey during the last month for an industrical Plot, the prices were soaring and the Price range is Rs. 3,000 to 20,000 in IDAs as per locations, which is not viable for a SSI. I would like to know whether Government is offering Industrial plots for NRIs or locals and how to get this information. I tried many Governement websites and contacted them but no response. I would also be interested to know whether Government is encouraging SSIs in and around Hyderabad or any particular districts in Teleanga

Anybody can Advise???

The AP Infrastructure Development Corporation was setup for this purpose. Did you check them out...

Secondly you can catchup with some guy at any of the local Urban Development Authority office for a list of plots of vacent lands that are earmarked for industrial development.
