Of course, Bill Gates is a very busy man. However, his company, Microsoft Corporation has its technology center at Hyderabad, good enough for him to pay a visit to Hyderabad. If you track back, Bill Gates did visit Andhra few years ago. Why do you think he ignored Hyderabad? Do you think the Congress-led Government was not so keen to invite him to the state? or was it that Gates' visit this time had more priorities than paying a normal visit to Hyderabad?

Hmm.....maybe he was disappointed after CBN lost his CMship, he prob. thinks Hyd. is not going to pull up in IT again......? Confused

Only IT is not enough for developing state. Over concentration on IT resulted deaths of many farmers in state. Chandra Babu will not win again.

From my perspective, there are many points:

1. There is no new activity in the region since his last visit (no major companies started their operations since his last visit - other than his rival Google and Oracle who either started or expanded their operations)
2. Change in govt. and YSR is known to be not so tech savvy (compared to CB Naidu)
3. Hyderabad follows Bangalore in terms of the problems (conjusted roads, traffic jams, water scarcity etc.)
