| In telugu, slum areas are called as muriki vadalu or muriki petalu. It is not right to use such indecent words as meanings for slum areas. They should be called as pedavalla veedhulu. Using indecent words for referring streets of people people is not good. _________________ People who know much about science become rationalists, people who know much about society and economy become communists and people who have more intrest on cinemas & TV than other issues are useless fellows. |

| | True. Such indecent words are humiliating poor people. Such meanings must be changed. Humiliating poor people is against Marxism. |

| I don't think it is only restricted to poor people, Hyderabad a dirty capital city of AP is having a big housing colony called KPHB and the biggest slum with stray dogs and pigs in dozens ruling the colony. Mind you this colony has several hundreds of apartments constructed modifying old housing board allotted houses. for your info there is a huge construction 30 more shopping malls and more than a dozen multiplex theater complexes are under construction in this slum.lakhs of People are living in very unheigenic conditions. _________________ STATESMAN |

| If we agree with your arguments, we should think that all the towns and cities in India are dirty. In Hyderabad, municipal corporation used to kill stray dogs for cleanliness program. Amala and other pseudo animal lovers agitated against that program and stopped it. In Kakinada, officers decided to kill stray pigs by using some professional hunters from Anakapalli. Two self pro-claimed animal lovers seized guns from those hunters and handed them to police though those hunters had permission of municipal officers to kill. I read in one news paper that so called animal lovers also arrange biryani feasts at meetings. _________________
