| I am a middle aged hindu from telangana interested in the Maoist party. I belive large scale efforts to build a better world were only partial successes. I believe no party can afford to get arrogant. A game plan that precludes the noted reversals in china and russia are crucial. _________________ Understanding Dialectical Materialism is the Key to changing the World |

| | You should be a secularist if you are a communist. Just claiming yourself as hindu is not good. You should know well how do politicians misuse religion for votes by name of hindutva, muslim reservations etc. They also try to color themselves as secularists by entering into religious structures of other religions. I am secularist. I give less preference to religion and hate caste(even my own caste). |

It is obvious that you hate your caste as you belong to some Gondoos (SCHEDULE TRIBE).
For some reason you are craving for kammas, that is the reason you are operating under a kamma last name. |

What is it got to do with being Hindu and being secularist. In fact Hinduism is the most secular religion on this planet and India was the melting point of different religious philosophies before Christianity and Islam started their religious battles. Before 13’th century, Hinduism was mostly a way of life than a religion until the fundamentalistic invaders attacked India in the name of religion and labeled the local population as Hindus.
In fact, had the Christian and Muslim invaders are not so barbaric and the world paced at the same rate as previous centuries, Jesus Christ and Allah would have been accepted as Gods like we did to Buddha. But history took different direction and here we are.
The point is you can be Hindu and be secularist. In fact I have christian and muslim friends and I equally call them secular. We respect each other religious practices and even we help them fulfil their religious practices. |
