Minister Raghuveera Reddy said that they will provide fertilisers and seeds to farmers at low cost. Farmers who want to start alternative crops will get 100% subsidy for seeds. Raghuveera Reddy said that they will supply fertilisers and seeds in agricultural market yards.

If government reduce tax on fertilisers, fertilisers manufacturers will reduce prices automatically. Some more individuals will also setup fertiliser industries in our state. Government need not purchase fertilisers and sell at low cost.

Though I think that globalization is inevitable and will be on the whole beneficial, I think that one has to watch out with companies like this. Even the USA seems powerless against some of these companies and Monsanto products banned in Canada and Europe are still being sold in the USA.
