| | New tribal district should be formed by separating tribal areas from Srikakulam district. In Srikakulam district, areas like Seethampeta, Kotturu, Hiramandalam, Pathapatnam, Mahendragiri etc are tribal areas. Srikakulam district was formed in 1950. Since from the formation time of Srikakulam district, those tribal areas are backward and did not develop much. Formation of new district will definitely develop those areas. |

| I lived many years in Srikakulam district. Some of my relatives are also living in Srikakulam district. In tribals areas also i am having relatives. In 1998 i went to a tribal village named Bhamini in Srikakulam district. Bhamini is small village but it was made as mandal head quarter. Bhamini is having MRO, MDO MEO offices and telephone exchange. But at that time there was no pakka road to that village. They laid pakka road later. It shows that even mandal head quarters are neglected in tribal areas. Some time back i went to another tribaL village named Goidi in Seethampeta mandal. There are around 50 houses in that village. That village is located near main road. Some families in that village are having television sets. One family is having air cooler(small size). They got these electronic devices due to reduce of prices of electronics. But individual latrines are used by only 1 or 2 families in that village. People of that village use stream in out skirts of that village for secretion. Bureaucrats are not concentrating much on development of tribal areas. _________________ In India rich people become more rich and poor people become more poor.
