Post subject: Did Krishna Pushkaram lost its craze?

I agree with Radhika for the fact that the funds are not efficiently used by the present Government to meet the expectations of the people as it thought.

I suppose if the previous Government and the Administration continued to be in power and position they would have implemented more features to make the Pushkaram's more friendly to the visitors. After all it is all the arrangements are to make the piligrims more convinient for the public.

I was on train and was surprised to see not much crowds at Vijayawada and Rajahmundry Railway stations. At the same time during the Godavari Pushkaram's both the Railway Stations and Trains were completly full of crowds. This is a clear indication that the people lost craze of the Pushkarams - forget the holiness and the punyam that we get out of it.

One thing i observered is the arrangements made by ISCKON at Rajahmundry as a part of the Krishnasthami. The decoratations, light settings, arrangements and the exhibitions set are very nice.
