I heard in TV9 news that Devadula project on river Godavari is not having chances to get environmental clearence. That project will submerge large extend of reserve forest land in water. Endangered species of wild life are also living in that reserved forest.

In Andhra Pradesh, extent of forests is less and safety for wild life is bad. So i too agree that environment clearence should not be given to Devadula project.

Devadula project got environmental clearence. Now there is no problem with Devadula.

governments do get central clearences but this project is suffering from extortion technics of maoists, both kirloskars and navyuga engineering who are working at site are getting vexed with regular kidnappings of their engineers followeds by ransom demands, so many engineers resigned and companies are facing lot of problems in execution. telangana will certianly develop if maoists are driven out from the region.
