The Government has come quickly to address the problem of the 1000-pillar mantapam in Tirupati when the Jeer said he will go on fast-till-death. This irked the Tirumala temple priests who said Government is entering into temple and religious matters.

What do you to think about the Governement's entering into the situation?

Govt should stay out of Temple affairs. Devotees and their elected representatives should handle temple affairs. Politicians, and their appointees just make a mess and bring down the pretisge of the most popular temple in the world.

Keep the politicians away. Let devotees decide. It is their faith in Lord Venkateswara and it is their money(or Lord Venkateswara's money).

1,000 pillar hall should be restored. Some people are proposing to construct maha prakaram for making Tirumala-Tirupati as a commercial spot. 1,000 pillar hall is ancient monument. Government had unnecesarily demolished 1,000 pillar hall. Government should restore 1,000 pillar hall instead of constructing maha prakaram.
