NALCO, JINDAL TO SET UP ALUMINIUM PLANTS IN VIZAG

friends, heard that nalco and jindal are in talks with the govt. to set up their plants in vizag. as a result of bauxite ores found in the forests near to vizag they started talks with the govt. source; business-standard.com (feb 4th). let's hope they will yield fruitful results.

In Vizag agency area there are huge reserves of bauxite. From long time they are leaft unused. Setting up alluminium plants there is very good idea.

National Alluminium Corporation(NALCO) is already having heavy alluminium plants in Koraput and Angul districts of Orissa. It is good to hear that they are going to open new alluminium plants in Visakhapatnam district.

Jindal company started the project of first phase of construction of Aluminium plant. Estimation of cost for first phase is around Rs 3,000 crores. Total estimation of that project is 9,500 crores. It will take 2 years to complete that project.
