Construct non tributary streams in in draught hit areas

Government should construct non tributary streams in in draught hit areas. Non tributary stream means which do not flow into river or other stream and it's water flow ends only in it's drain area. Such streams and rivers are mostly seen in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Those streams and rivers were naturally formed in those states. Construction of non tributary streams can increase under ground water level. Normally rain water flows in to streams, streams flow in rivers and rivers flow into sea. Lot of water is wasting by merging of water into sea. Construction of non tributary steams can solve this problem.

Good idea Sudharsan. Constructing such drains is not so costly like futile projects like Pulichintala.

I time of Zameendari system our great grand fathers constructed such drain through their cashew and mango plantations. But due to lack of maintainance that drain became dead.

Now it is time for government to construct such drains. Lot of farmers are committing suicides and most of them are AP farmers. No farmer should commit suicide in India in future.
