YS Raja Sekhar Reddy decided to reduce 4% tariff on electricity supplied to industries. 4% reduction of tariff may not be adequate. It will not reopen closed industries. If power tariff is reduced atleast 20% some of the closed industries can be reopened.

It should be applied for cottage industries also.
