Konaseema is a beautifull land in Andhra Pradesh. Godavari delta between rivers Goutami and Vasishta is called as Konaseema. Konaseema is land of coconut gardens. Coconut gardens gave good beauty to Konaseema.
These are the tourist centers in Konaseema
Mukteswaram It is famous saiva temple located in Ainavalli mandalam. There are bus services from its near by town Amalapuram. Its nearest railway station is Kotipalli. If we alight train at Kotipalli we should ferry on mechanised boat to cross river Goutami between Kotipalli and Mukteswaram ferry. Distance from Mukteswaram ferry to Mukteswaram is approximately 2 KMs.

Amalapuram It is only town in Konaseema. It is small but commercial town. Its nearest railway station is Kotipalli. Amalapuram is around 13 KMs far from Mukteswaram ferry. There is proposed railway station at village Bhatnavilli in out skirts of Amalapuram town on proposed Kotipalli Narasapuram railway line.
Appanapalli Famous temple of Bala Balaji is located in Appanapalli. There are busses from Appanapalli to Palakollu town which is around 35 KMs from there. Its good but, the roads condition, cheating mentality of traders, extra talk by locals, non availability of good food or at least drinking water will irritate tourists who try to reach these places. Public should impress upon authourities to provide at least good roads and infrastructure to attract tourists at least on domestic front. All the Tourists are donot consume coke, red label. and non vegetable food, and prostitution which is available in every nook and corner of E.G.dt, BUT NOT GOOD VEG. FOOD AND DRINKING WATER. We are the worst sufferers and vowed not to visit the district even Rajahmundry once again.

In Konaseema many roads are narrow. Out side of Konaseema also many roads are narrow. Recently Kakinada Kotipalli railway line was opened. There is also proposal of extending that railway line to Narasapuram. If Kotipalli Narasapuram railway line construction completes it will give some relief for people of Konaseema who are facing problem by narrow roads. In Konaseema roads are more but their width is not more. Bridges are also less in Konaseema. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation developed some roads for convience of their operations. They developed kachcha roads as pakka roads. They did not widen those roads.
