Srikakulam is back in the midst of the same old troubles. Heavy rains are lashing in the district. River Vamsadhara is overflowing causing water to flow much faster and at higher levels. Hope the authorities are making arrangements to meet any contingencies. After all, our Revenue Minister Dharmana is from this region only.

As you eluded this is repeating for past few years. What it means is that contrary to popular opinion and ubiquitous poverty, there is plenty of water here. It is only our leaders that neglected the most backward region of the state as if there are no options here.

Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Vizag districts get highest rain fall than other districts but irrigations projects and canals are less in those districts. So, those districts are starving.
