Mahbubnagar district should be renamed as Suravaram by name Suravaram Pratapa Reddy(famous telugu literaturist). Suravaram Pratapa Reddy had also done great research on history and also proved that fables like Ramayana, Mahabharata etc are just fictions. Suravaram Pratapa Reddy was born in a village in Mahbubnagar district. In those days Nizam rulers used to run only urdu medium schools in Telangana. Suravaram Pratapa Reddy learned telugu in his uncle's home in Kurnool district. Suravaram Pratapa Reddy and his companions fought against urdu medium education in Telangana. In those days position of telugu was so bad in Telangana. Telugu people used to write in urdu script for writing in telugu. Suravaram Pratapa Reddy was reviver of telugu literature in Telangana. Name "Suravaram" is best suitable for Mahbubnagar district.

I also heard about Suravaram Pratapa Reddy. Suravaram Pratapa Reddy had also done research on history and also proved that Ramayana is fictious story.

Suravaram Pratapa Reddy had done a lot for reviving telugu language in Telangana. But now also people mix some urdu words in telugu. In old city of Hyderabad, hindus speak urdu now also. Nizam rulers used to force their religion and culture on Telanganites. They used to encourage conversions into islam and teach urdu medium education in schools. Official records were also used to be written in urdu. The day must come when Telanganites speak clean telugu without mixing urdu words.
