| I guess with the increase in the allocations for the Irrigation section, atleast some of the problems of the farmers will be solved!! _________________ I like Tomorrow...

| | The main reason is no empowerment and delegation of power to the right person. I don't know about irrigation projects, but that is the major obstacle in Indian management that mimics colonial structure where the boss, the white shaib, makes the decisions and the brown sahibs implement them. In fact even among American companies, the companies that have culture of delegating both authority and responsibility are doing lot better than companies that follow hierarchical order of decision making. |

| in india, state or central government irrigation projects are executed not by real technically sound construction companies. Political bosses decide which MLA, MP has to do these works and how much he has to plough back at party office. as long as this culture goes on, the society will be like this only. basically employees both state and central governments who have become corrupt because of politicians are responsiblee for this anarchy. _________________ STATESMAN |
