The Andhra Pradesh government set up its own placement agency, the “Overseas Manpower Corporation” to protect job seeking emigrants from cheats. The company was registered under company’s act on Tuesday and will be formally launched in the first week of February.

I think this is a check for many intermittent players (we call them bodyshoppers & brokers)and now people willing to settle down in other countries can enjoy the service.

Good Step by the Govt.

Infosys planning to open one more outlet in Hyderabad , big way this time.

Government has already earmarked 200 acres of land for Infosys at Shamshabad. But the company is asking for 1,000 acre land if it has to go as far as Shamshabad. MOU is expected to be signed between government and Infosys on 27th January 06.
