From Delhi edition of Eenadu (27-10-05):It Seems that Budhists will celebrate "kalachakramahatsavam' in Amaravati, Guntur Dt. from January 3 to January 15 next year. One hotel in Guntur is booked for Dalailama and 42 rooms in another by Koreans. A small house in dharanikota near Amaravati is fetching a rent of 90.000 rupees for 15 days.

I am hoping this festival will revive the Tourism in the Area of Guntur and Amaravathi. Even with so much of historic and tourist aspect, this area has been neglected (one example is the Amaravathi Road in Guntur, it is still a single lane road, atleast as of April 2003).

Dear Elected officials(YSR or Kanna or whoever), do something !!!@@
